The DX17 is a .177 Pellet or 4.5mm Steel BB and is a similar action to the old G10 Repeater. These are great entry level Air Pistols and are great for plinking. The DX17 is lightweight and the cocking mechanism pulls from the rear of the gun and the loading is done by lifting up the front part of the gun. When using pellets it is single shot but for when using 4.5mm Steel BB's you can load a few at a time and all is needed is for the cocking to be done to make a repeater
