By continuing to browse our website or purchasing in the shop you are agreeing to comply with our terms and conditions.
(The use of the word Firearms below refers to Shotguns, Rifles of all calibres, Air Rifles, and Pistols)
This website is solely for Stringtown Supplies and does not take responsibility for the other businesses at the same premises. We have no responsibility for products purchased via Relics or Hogans Heroes as these are businesses owned by different people.
All new firearms will come with 12 month warranty which is not transferable. This will cover manufacturing defects only. Proof of purchase will be required. You will not be covered if modifications, abuse or poor maintenance has occurred to the firearm or if it has been dismantled in any way. Maintenance must be carried out by Stringtown Supplies or must be sent by us to the original supplier. We recommend that you read the instruction manual that is supplied carefully prior to using the firearm. All firearms must be returned to us at the buyers expense. If returning firearms for repair you must ensure the item is safe (Not Cocked or Loaded) and well packaged for travel. Stringtown Supplies will take no responsibility for damage due to carrier handling.
We endeavour to describe all items accurately and with photographs to provide a clear picture of the condition. Extra pictures can be taken upon request. If you have made a purchase via a website and are not happy we will refund the full amount provided you have called the shop and the item is returned within 7 days of purchase in the same condition it was dispatched to you. Second hand firearms are to be returned to us at your expense in appropriate packaging for carrier handling.
Second hand firearms sold in the shop are warranted for 3 months however optics are NOT included in warranty.
We endeavour to describe our used military surplus clothing and footwear with detail. We can supply extra photos on request of certain items. Website images of clothing are for illustration purposes only and we have tried our best to show exact colours but we can not be held accountable for discrepancies in monitor colours. Used surplus clothing will come with a 30day warranty and orders may be returned if the item has failed to meet the description of the item. We can either replace the item in the first instance but if we fail to have the correct size we will be happy to refund your payment within the 30 day period. We can only exchange items if the wrong size has been ordered for the correct size. Used Surplus Footwear come with a 30 day warranty.
New clothing comes with a 6 month warranty for manufacturing defects only and does not cover misuse, wear and tear, or poor maintenance. A full refund/replacement may be offered if it is proven to be manufacture defect. Items purchased online can only be returned if there is a defect, we do not accept responsibility if the wrong size was originally purchased but we may be able to exchange the item if they are returned in the original packaging and in a sale worthy condition. We do not accept responsibility of any damage caused by couriers or postal services. Any returns must be discussed in advance and within 14 days of purchase.
Accessories will be post within 24-48 hours of cleared funds. (This will exclude weekends and bank holidays). Firearms new and used will be dispatched within 7 days of cleared funds subject to no outside influence such as strikes etc. By appropriate carriers. Firearms cannot be sent to your home address but we will deliver to your local Registered Firearms Dealer (RFD) with all transport and exchange fees met by the customer. We cannot guarantee what charge your local RFD will apply.
Orders are subject to additional carriage charge depending on the item and location. Discrepancies and loss or damage in transit must be notified to us within 7 days of receipt of the goods. Customers are responsible for checking the condition of the goods immediately upon receipt of the goods. Any issues must be raised within 7 days to Stringtown Supplies.
Returns for Credit
No goods can be returned without prior arrangement. Returned goods that are correctly supplied will be subject to handling/restocking fees of 10% of the original invoice. Refunds will be issued within 7 days of returning the item. Any returns must be done by the original purchaser and can not be transferred to new owner.
Note: Please be aware that items can only be returned for exchange or refund if they are unused and if all their original packaging and have all of the labels and barcode tags attached and intact, don't remove them if you're thinking of returning them (please do not put tape or labels on the original product packaging). If either the goods or the packaging are not in a re-saleable state, then we may decline your exchange or refund request.
Ownership will not pass to the buyer until Stringtown Supplies has been paid in full. Once items have been purchased we cannot accept responsibility for returns or exchanges from a third owner (we can only accept returns/exchanges by original purchaser with proof of purchase).
We use several methods of shipping once payment has been taken. We are NOT allowed to send Firearms, Silencers, or Replacement Barrels through the post as these MUST be sent to your local RFD. Customers have the rights to full consumer contracts regulations.
