The Umarex Legends Cowboy Rifle is Lever Action and ejects shells like the real thing. The 4.5mm Steel BBs are Pre loaded into the shells then shell loaded into the rifle. The rifle uses the 12gram Co2 powerlets. The shells are loaded into the side of the rifle and once cocked they eject from the same side. The rifle has an aging finish to it and real wood stock. The power of this rifle is around the 625ft/sec
